Clarence Rose is a Goldsboro native and PGA Tour Professional. He has also competed on the Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour. Rose played golf for Mount Olive College and Clemson University where he earned hall of fame honors at both. He earned All-American honors at Clemson in 1980.
Rose played over 16 years on the PGA Tour. He won his first title in 1996 at the Sprint International at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Pines, CO.
Rose returned to and made his home in Goldsboro, NC with his wife Jan and their two children, Clark and Allison. Rose came to Walnut Creek CC as the head golf pro in April 2010.
