Goldsboro, North Carolina is located in Wayne County in eastern North Carolina, about 60 miles east of Raleigh and 75 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. Goldsboro offers a climate of mild winters along with sunshine-filled summer days, which allows for golfing and many other recreational activities to be year-round sports. The beach areas are a short drive via Highway 70 to either the Atlantic Beach or Emerald Isle coastal area.
